This is one of the more creative uses I’ve seen for a Penny Portrait. I believe this was sold to the fine folks at the Penny Hoarder blog as you can see it prominently in their office photos. What is super impressive to me is the fact he bent the pennies around the edge of the table. Dude, just put a border on it! That had to be crazy difficult. It also appears as if Abe has rather broad shoulders, but that’s probably just the angle of the video. The top-down view looks pretty normal. That said, the entire project turned out pretty fantastic. Would love to know how he poured the epoxy coating to get it to be smooth around the edges. Good stuff all around. (Ha, get it… “all around”, oh man, I crack myself up. Did I mention it’s late.)

Oh, that table is awesome! I went and found the picture you were talking about and I could see how the penny went around the edge. I bet that took so long!
